Dakota Plains Legal Services, through a grant from the Indian Land Tenure
Foundation, is offering community meetings for trust land owners in South
Dakota.
The
meetings focus on protecting a tribal members family Indian land interests and
options tribal members have to preserve trust land interests including how to:

Resolve issues of multiple owners in
trust land (fractionation)

Consolidate current trust land
holdings

Retain current trust land and the
income received from it for life

Ensure who will receive your land in
the future

Avoid allowing someone else to decide
who will get your familys Indian land when you pass
